Fun Ways to Dress Up Your Front Entrance for Spring

Spring is here! It’s time to freshen up your outdoor living spaces and curb appeal. Having a bright and well-maintained front entrance makes your home more welcoming and aesthetically pleasing. Here are a few ideas to add pizzazz to your front entryway this season.

Add a Bright Wreath

Add a seasonal wreath to your front entrance to immediately brighten an entryway. It adds character to the front entrance while also making the home appear more welcoming.

Flowers & Greenery

Add flowers and other plants to the porch. Placing hanging baskets equal distances apart is a beautiful way to accentuate the architecture of your home.

Touch Up the Rest of the Walkway/Lawn

Landscape around the walkway. Sweep the walkway of debris and trim any plants that might be obstructing the walkway. This gives the entrance a welcoming appearance.

Outdoor Lighting / Light Up The Walkway

To make your home more welcoming in the evening, add LED lanterns or lights to guide the way up the walkway to the home’s entrance. To enhance architectural features while also offering security, spotlights are a great way to light the exterior of your home. If there are stairs anywhere, make sure these are always lit up at night for safety.

Colorful Furniture

If you have a large front porch, incorporate bright furniture and accents. This will make the porch look like an inviting place for people to relax or entertain guests.

Add a Welcome Mat

Adding a welcome mat is a simple way to dress up your entryway. This will also encourage guests to wipe their feet before going inside, reducing the amount of dirt and grime that gets tracked inside.

Repaint the Front Door

This is obviously a permanent and time-consuming way to switch up your entrance. Although, a freshly re-painted front door can instantly give a home a facelift.
