5 Quick Kitchen Cleaning Tasks That Have a Big Impact

Busy schedules and hectic lives can make it feel like an impossible feat to keep the kitchen clean. However, keeping a few simple and quick cleaning tasks at the top of mind, you’ll be able to keep your kitchen looking clean with less time.

 

Wash Dishes Immediately

Resist the temptation to leave dirty dishes in the sink. After your meal, wash the dishes or put them into the dishwasher. A clean sink makes a huge difference in your kitchens appearance.  

 

Wipe Out The Sink

After washing dishes, rinse and wipe out the sink. This will keep any debris from building up in your sink and keep it dry.

 

Put Away Dry Dishes

After your cleaned dishes have dried, put them away. Do not let them rest on your countertop for hours, or worse, days. When they are dry put them away, at most this task will take 2 minutes and having a clean countertop will instantly make your kitchen look better.

 

Take Out The Trash

Make taking out the kitchen trash a daily task. Take it out on your way to take the kids to school, when you are off to work, or any other time. This will prevent your kitchen from getting any funky odors.

 

Swap Out Dish/Hand Towels

Replace your dish and hand towels each day. This will keep your towels clean and looking fresh. Plus, it will ensure that your towels are clean when you are drying your dishes with them.
