An easy way to brighten the inside of your home is to add plants! Although, a lot of people find themselves spending money on plants and struggling to keep them alive. To counteract this, we have listed our favorite house plants that are hardy and resilient.
- Phalaenopsis Orchid
This plant is incredibly durable and forgiving when it come to care and maintenance. It only needs watering once every 7-10 days. Unlike most other household plants, this variety also creates a beautiful flower.
This is a large, leafy plant that only needs watered about once a week. These plants prefer to be in the light but they can still survive in dark places. If it grows too large for your indoor space it can easily be moved to the outdoors.
- Ponytail Palm
An interesting fact about this species is that it is actually an agave variety, not a palm like the name suggests. This plant is native to Mexico, making it fond of warm and dry climates. If you frequently find yourself forgetting to water plants for long amounts of time, this is the plant for you! It actually prefers the soil to dry out completely before being re-watered.
Succulents are extremely easy to maintain. They thrive in an area where they can receive sunlight for at least half of the day and be watered occasionally. Plus, there are a wide range of varieties to choose from!
